The first public fundraising and fundraising contest was held by the Harapan Sumba Foundation. This activity is based on the intention to interpret National Education Day (Hardiknas) with activities to hone the power of reasoning, critical power and leadership of students.
Public funds collected are still far from the target. In addition to awareness of donations that have not been strong, the committee is aware of other obstacles including short fundraising time, patterns and methods that are not yet varied and the working committee is not optimal.
Our public contribution appreciates the form of inviting donors to take part in activities, giving opportunities for donors to present prizes, to put the name and amount of donations in the competition room and to read the donor’s name at the opening of the event.
In addition to appreciation, this is a form of applying our principles of transparency and accountability. To perfect it, we submit the following income and utilization of funds.
